Celtic midfielder Ismaila Soro has told the club’s supporters that the player he plays most like is Chelsea star N’Golo Kante.
The 22-year-old signed for the club in January from Bnei Yehuda and made the revelation during a Twitter Q&A.
Soro switched to Celtic Park from the Israeli Premier League back in January, costing around £2 million (Daily Record).
The holding midfielder is strong in the tackle, energetic and keeps the ball extremely well.
The youngster has penned a four-and-a-half-year deal with Neil Lennon’s team and is fancied to make an impact.
Celtic will be on the hunt for their 10th Scottish Premiership title in succession next season.
A trophy-laden period showed no signs of slowing down last season, with the Hoops awarded the title despite the campaign going unfinished.
Celtic fans will be absolutely delighted to hear Soro say that he fancies himself as a player in the same mould as Kane, saying this on Twitter:
? IS: I compare my game to N'Golo Kanté. He is brilliant. His movement on the field and his reading of game is very good. ⚽️ https://t.co/KntzYR7OyZ

Kante won back-to-back league titles in England, first with Leicester and then again following his £30 million move to Chelsea.
The 29-year-old has earned 39 caps for his country and is hardly a bad player for Soro to model his game on.
If the Ivorian is half as good as the Frenchman then Celtic fans will be in for a treat once the new season begins.
