Celtic drew 2-2 with Livingston last night but still extended their lead at the summit of the Scottish Premiership after Rangers lost to Hamilton at Ibrox.

The Hoops needed a 91st-minute goal from Tom Rogic to earn them a point. Goals from Jon Guthrie and Scott Robinson had cancelled out Callum McGregor’s goal in the 16th-minute.

Neil Lennon’s team are now 13 points clear at the summit of the division and are closing in on their ninth title in succession.

It was actually a Livingston player who caught the eye of Celtic supporters last night and not one of their own players.

Lyndon Dykes proved a real handful for the Celtic defence and finished the game with an assist.

He was unlucky not to get on the scoresheet and add to his tally of 12 goals during the 2019/20 campaign.

Dykes also has 10 assists this season and is proving a really useful asset for Livingston.

The 24-year-old showed superb hold-up play and Celtic fans indeed feel he could actually do a job at Celtic Park.

Some of them took to Twitter after the contest to rave about the performance of Dykes, despite him contributing to two dropped points for the Hoops.
