Celtic were dumped out of the Champions League on Tuesday night following a 4-3 defeat to Romanian champions Cluj.
It means that Neil Lennon’s team will now face one two-legged tie in the Europa League to try and reach the group stages of the competition.
In terms of finances, it represents a real setback for the Hoops and for Lennon who will try and bolster his ranks before the European transfer window slams shut.

According to The Scottish Sun, Celtic are considering a loan swoop for Bournemouth winger Jordan Ibe.
The 23-year-old could be available having fallen down the pecking order at the Cherries and Celtic might rival Napoli and Fiorentina for his services.
The Hoops desperately need some reinforcements. Against Cluj, the team looked desperately unbalanced and that must change.
Ibe is on £38,000-a-week at Bournemouth (Spotrac) and cost the Cherries £15 million (BBC Sport). Given that Celtic missed out on the Champions League they may need some input from the Premier League side for his salary.

Following news of Ibe potentially arriving at Celtic Park, the Hoops supporters have been discussing the deal on Twitter.
The consensus is that he would prove a decent signing and here is a selection of tweets from supporters keen to see the winger in the famous green and white:
