Celtic fell to a 3-1 defeat in their Europa League group stage clash with Red Bull Salzburg on Thursday evening despite taking the lead early on.
Odsonne Edouard opened the scoring just minutes into the tie but Salzburg launched a superb second-half comeback to condemn Brendan Rodgers’ side to defeat, capitalising on James Forrest’s red card after efforts from Moanes Dabour and Takumi Minamino.
Forrest’s dismissal handed the hosts a penalty, which Dabour tucked home for his second of the night, but the 27-year-old was not the only member of the squad who disappointed fans with his performance.
Jack Hendry also courted negative attention on social media after struggling in the match against the Austrian side, with the 23-year-old putting in a forgetful performance in defence for the Scottish champions.
It stands as the latest in a series of poor performances for Hendry and fans took to social media to share their opinions on the young defender, which may lead Brendan Rodgers to make a change in the coming weeks in order to move him out of the firing line.
