Celtic forward Oliver Burke has heaped praise on his new teammates.
The star on loan from West Bromwich Albion has made a fine start to life at Parkhead having scored three goals in his first five appearances.
Burke appears to be loving life with the Scottish giants and has already hinted at a permanent switch.
The former RB Leipzig player has been thoroughly impressed with Celtic’s style, and he clearly seems to be benefiting.
Burke has been impressed with his new teammates, claiming that some are ‘better quality’ than when he played in the Premier League and the Bundesliga.
He told The Evening Times: “I think they [McGregor and Forrest] are very much underrated when you look at the Scottish boys.
“Scottish football is sort of looked down upon, I don’t know why. Some of the boys in the Celtic squad I am now playing beside have better quality than what I played with in Germany or in the Premier League.”
Quite the compliment
That is quite the compliment, given Burke has played alongside the likes of Naby Keita, Timo Werner and Dayot Upamecano for Leipzig.
He made 25 appearances for the Bundesliga side in total.
Burke certainly seems like he’s enjoying himself at Parkhead now, and perhaps he would like to settle having represented five clubs in the last three years.
The pacy forward, who has been leading the line for the Bhoys, will be hoping to keep up his form until the end of the season.
Burke is in contention to start in the crunch first leg Europa League match with Valencia.
