Celtic fans want midfielder Olivier Ntcham sold amid Porto interest

Celtic midfielder Olivier Ntcham is reportedly attracting interest ahead of the summer – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter have responded by suggesting they sell him.

According to the Scottish Sun, Porto are set to make a big for Frenchman in the transfer window.

The report details that the Portuguese heavyweights were willing to fork out £14million for him back in January, but the fee would be significantly less if he exits Parkhead during the next couple of months.

Ntcham has been with Celtic since 2017 and has already won five pieces of silverware, which will become six if his team beat Hearts in the Scottish Cup final later in May.

He was previously on the books at Manchester City and has found regular first-team football since his switch to Scotland.

The central midfielder is an enforcer that breaks up play well and does the defensive side of his game, while he’s also chipped in with six goals across all competitions too this season.

But there has been a suggestion that has form has dipped during the last year and he’s been in and out of the XI under interim boss Neil Lennon.

A selection of Bhoys fans have pleaded their case to offload Ntcham just two years after his arrival.

It seems clear that Porto are keen admirers of the enforcer and some supporter may well get their wish this summer.
