Celtic fans think Lewis Morgan should leave on loan after Nomme Kalju display

Lewis Morgan managed a 30-minute cameo as Celtic earned an excellent 5-0 Champions League qualifying win over Nomme Kalju – but some Hoops fans think Morgan should consider a loan move this summer.

Scotland international Morgan, 22, came on for the last third of the match as Kris Ajer, Leigh Griffiths and Callum McGregor all found the back of the net, while Ryan Christie notched an excellent brace.

The win gives Celtic a huge step towards the Champions League group stages, with the second qualifying round all but over thanks to the large victory. Morgan made his third appearance of the season, replacing Griffiths.

Morgan seems to have come into the first-team fold after making 16 appearances for the Hoops last season before being loaned to Sunderland in January, where he scored two goals and laid on four assists in 22 outings.

His display produced a mixed reaction on Twitter, with some praising his display while others believe he is lacking the end product that fans have come to expect at Celtic – from the likes of James Forrest and Scott Sinclair.

Some Celtic fans believe that Morgan may struggle to get game time, with Daniel Arzani closing in on a return, and feel that a loan for the ex-St. Mirren winger may be the best option this summer.
