It is no secret that Celtic followed up a poor summer with a stuttering start to the Scottish Premiership season which led to questions about Brendan Rodgers’ future.
But they look determined to make amends for that shaky opening to the season by reaffirming their status as Scotland’s best team, judging by their last two performances.
Sunday’s 3-0 victory over Hearts was a real statement of intent and it was followed up by giving Dundee the chills on Halloween night.
Celtic put the frighteners on their hosts from the off and were 4-0 up by half-time in a game they went on to win 5-0.

The rout was started on 20 minutes by Tom Rogic. The mercurial Australian was given far too much time to pick his spot and curled in a fabulous left-footed shot to start the scoring.
The Celtic fans loved it and took to Twitter to let Rogic know at full-time. We’ve taken a look at the best of the reaction…
