A number of Celtic fans have taken to Twitter to laud Tom Rogic after the Australian produced a superb display in the Hoops’ League Cup win over Hearts on Sunday.
Ange Postecoglou’s men made it four wins on the bounce in all competitions. And in the process, they booked their spot in the quarter-final.
Odsonne Edouard and Stephen Welsh scored in the first-half for the Bhoys. And after Hearts got one back from the penalty spot, Kyogo Furuhashi put Celtic out of sight once again.
It was Rogic who provided the assist for the third goal. The midfielder produced a superbly-weighted pass into the path of the Japan international.
And his overall performance prompted many Celtic supporters to take to social media to heap praise on the 28-year-old.
Obviously, it has not been the easiest time for Rogic at Parkhead. It had appeared that he may be one of the players Celtic may need to replace sooner rather than later.
However, he has rediscovered some of his better form at the start of this campaign. He was simply superb on Sunday.
