Celtic fans react to reports linking them with Max Lowe move

Celtic are reportedly entering the race to sign Derby County left-back Max Lowe this summer. The Daily Express is reporting that Celtic are hopeful of battling both domestic rivals Rangers and Aberdeen. The report states that Celtic have ‘already held initial talks’ with Derby County over a potential deal for the 22-year-old.

Lowe impressed on loan at Aberdeen last season and it appears that has caught the eye at Parkhead.

Celtic are set to field offers for Kieran Tierney this summer, with Arsenal, in particular, said to be interested in the Scotland international.

Emilio Izaguirre is also out of contract this summer and Celtic are lacking in the left-back position.

So the interest in Lowe certainly makes sense.

However, not all Celtic fans are convinced that Lowe is good enough to be a success at Parkhead.

It seems that several fans are happy to hear that Lowe is being targeted as long as Celtic are planning on bringing him in as a back-up to Tierney.

However, if he is being brought in as a potential replacement, Celtic fans are not keen.
