Celtic fans react to reports Leicester want to make £25m Callum McGregor bid
A number of Celtic fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports from The Scottish Sun over the weekend suggesting that Leicester City are planning to make a £25 million bid for Callum McGregor this summer.
McGregor has been a fantastic servant for Celtic. His game certainly seemed to go to another level during Brendan Rodgers’s tenure.

He has remained a key man following Rodgers’s departure for the King Power Stadium. And it now appears that the Foxes boss is keen to be reunited with the midfielder.

The report suggests that the Premier League high-flyers plan to offer £25 million for McGregor. It is noted that he will be a target regardless of whether James Maddison seals an £80 million move away or not.
But it is clear that plenty of Celtic fans have no interest in seeing McGregor go for £25 million. The Hoops have seen some of their key players leave in recent years, and they are adamant that the club need to do all they can to keep McGregor.
Some have suggested that Leicester should have to double their offer. Others would seemingly still be unhappy if that proved to be the fee Celtic accept.
Here is what some of the Hoops supporters make of the reports…
Probably a nothing story but a always said if rodgers was coming back for any our players it would be Callum.

Try £40m if u want a player like him. If Maddison is worth £80m

Not sure he would be as good playing with just the one leg they bought.
