Celtic are reportedly eyeing Hearts forward Uche Ikpeazu – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter have joked about the speculation and don’t believe he would be a good addition to the squad.
West London Sport reports that Neil Lennon’s team are showing an interest in the striker and QPR are also eyeing him.
The report explains that the 24-year-old has also been scouted by Wigan Athletic, Bristol City and Derby County.
Celtic have Odsonne Edouard as their talisman in attack, but it looks like they are eyeing up more potential competition for him.
Ikpeazu is a tall centre-forward that moved to Scotland in 2018 and has become a regular starter for top-flight outfit Hearts.
He has a decent return of 10 goals in 37 games across all competitions since his arrival, but is hardly a prolific scorer around the penalty area or the most technically cited.
The strong attacker is more than capable of leading the line by himself with his physicality and it must be noted he’s still young.
A selection of supporters on social media have discussed the links to the Hearts forward and agree that he’s a poor target.
He was playing at Cambridge United in the fourth-tier of English football before his move to Tynecastle and a step up to Celtic would be huge.
Here are some Celtic fans on Ikpeazu:

Small but important point about the noise around Ikpeazu…the one club that doesn’t suit him is Celtic, the crap he gets up to will be penalised all the time in the hoops. Every. Time. A waste, and he isn’t good enough anyway, nonsense story gotta be
