Celtic made the group stages of the Europa League after beating Sarajevo by a goal to nil in Bosnia, with Odsonne Edouard scoring the only goal of the game.

The Hoops were made to work by their opponents and they won’t look back on this one with any real fondness.

Celtic were relatively comfortable on the night, although Neil Lennon’s men struggled to really carve out a host of chances.

It was 22-year-old Edouard who once again proved the man for the big occasions, firing his sixth goal of the season.

The France under-21 international has been linked with a move throughout the summer months, although it does now seem as though he will be staying at Celtic Park.

That will be music to the ears of Celtic supporters who have him to thank for their place in the Europa League group stages.

Following his latest goal, Hoops supporters were quick to praise his contribution ahead of the next stage.

Edouard has now scored 66 goals in 135 games for Celtic and he is very much their main man in attack.

Here is a selection of Tweets from Celtic supporters as Lennon’s green and white army booked their place in the next stage of the competition.
