Celtic fans react to performance of Kristoffer Ajer during latest win

Celtic beat Kilmarnock 2-0 yesterday with goals coming from Mohamed Elyounoussi and Shane Duffy. The result keeps the Hoops 13 points behind rivals Rangers.

It was Kristoffer Ajer who drew plenty of praise from supporters on Twitter after the contest, however, with the defender in fine form.

The Norwegian defender has been linked with a move to AC Milan previously, with a £15 million valuation placed on his head.

Ajer has started 14 of Celtic’s 17 league games this season though and is very much an integral part of the team.

Yesterday he lined up as a right-back and it seemed a role that the 22-year-old was tailor-made for.

Like a lot of players, the man with 19 caps to his name has come in for some criticism this season.

Celtic look to be getting back on track, however, following up Thursday’s win over Lille with a badly-needed victory in the Premiership.

Yesterday, Ajer looked far more like the player linked with AC Milan and that can only bode well for Celtic.
