Celtic fans react to performance of Christopher Jullien in latest win
Celtic progressed to the semi-final of the Scottish Cup with a 1-0 win over St Johnstone at McDiarmid Park.
Some confusion surrounds the scorer of the goal that has sent them through to the last four. Ryan Christie’s free-kick seemed to evaded everyone, although some replays suggested Christopher Jullien may have got a touch.
The central defender has come up trumps for the Hoops on several occasions this season. If the dubious goals committee does determine he has scored this one, it’ll be another for his tally; although after the game the Frenchman did suggest it was Christie’s goal.
Jullien signed for the Hoops in the summer from Toulouse. The 26-year-old cost £7 million and has been a big hit with the club’s supporters.

The big defender has been a mainstay in Neil Lennon’s team this season, playing 43 matches. He has scored seven goals and registered two assists for his team.
The Hoops look on course to win the Scottish Cup once more and will now fancy winning the competition.
Following a late goal from the Frenchman, supporters took to Twitter to react to the defender’s performance.
It’s fair to say most are delighted with the impact he is having in Scottish football.
Here is a selection of tweets following his performance against St Johnstone.

Jullien reminds me of Vincent Kompany when he was at City. Comes up big when he is asked to. He isn't always on his game but when it matters he is always there.
