Celtic fans react to Olivier Ntcham’s performance against Motherwell

Olivier Ntcham played 79 minutes yesterday.

Celtic hammered in five goals to thrash Motherwell 5-2 in the Scottish Premiership. After a 7-0 opening day victory, Celtic followed that up with a comprehensive win at Fir Park.

After going behind early on, Celtic were in front at half-time thanks to Kristoffer Ajer and Leigh Griffiths. James Forrest and Odsonne Edouard pulled Celtic further away before a Ryan Christie penalty made it 5-1. Motherwell got a late consolation goal.

Neil Lennon welcomed Ntcham back into the starting line-up for the game. The Frenchman was on the bench last week against CFR Cluj and St Johnstone but he started on Saturday.

Ntcham played 79 minutes before Scott Sinclair replaced him with just over 10 minutes remaining. And he oozed class, reminding fans of just how good he can be on his day.

The 23-year-old, who has already scored in the league this season, provided an assist in the game. He now has one goal and three assists in five outings – three of which have come from the bench.

Here are some tweets from Celtic fans raving about Ntcham after an inspirational performance against Motherwell.
