Celtic fans react to Neil Lennon comment after Livingston draw

Celtic were close to being on the wrong end of a shock result in the Scottish Premiership last night as they were held to a 2-2 draw to Livingston.

The Hoops actually ended up edging further clear at the top of the league, with Rangers losing 1-0 at home to Hamilton.

Callum McGregor fired the Hoops into an early lead but Jon Guthrie and Scott Robinson goals handed Livi the advantage.

Celtic had to wait until the first minute of added time to rescue their point with Tom Rogic firing home.

Despite a below-par performance, Lennon said afterwards that he was pleased with his team who he thought were relentless.

That didn’t go down too well, however, with supporters feeling the statement was somewhat bizarre.

Celtic were nowhere near their best and Livingston might have scored more on another night.

Gary Holt’s team are enjoying a decent campaign but given the form, Celtic are in they should be beating them.

Celtic’s lead is now 13 points at the top of the division and title number nine in succession looks like a forgone conclusion.
