Celtic have given themselves a great chance of advancing into the last 32 of the Europa League with a 1-0 win over Norwegian side Rosenborg last night.
It was a well-executed performance from Brendan Rodgers’ men and a deserved win. The result leaves Celtic needing to avoid defeat against Red Bull Salzburg in matchday six to finish above RB Leipzig, with the Austrian side already guaranteed a place in the next round.
The one goal came courtesy of Scott Sinclair. The Englishman was picked out perfectly by James Forrest before heading home the eventual winner in the first-half.

But the player who caught the eye was the returning Tom Rogic. The Australian international missed the weekend clash against Hamilton with his troublesome knee injury but slotted straight back into the starting XI last night.
Alongside Callum McGregor and Ryan Christie he produced a superb technical performance in the middle of the park.
Rosenborg’s players could not get near the Socceroo and he made the game tick along nicely for Celtic in the middle of the park.
He played the full 90 minutes, another boost for Celtic ahead of the weekend clash with Aberdeen.
Here is how Celtic fans reacted to his display…
