Celtic fans react on Twitter to Tom Rogic exit reports

Celtic appear to be close to announcing Tom Rogic’s departure, with the Daily Mail reporting that the Australian is nearing a £4 million move to Qatar.

The Hoops fans are yet to see Rogic feature this season. He has been included on the bench on a couple of occasions, but is yet to get onto the pitch at any stage.

And it appears that he is now set to leave Parkhead in the very near future. The Daily Mail has reported that Rogic is set to join an unnamed club in Qatar.

The Mail suggests that the move is set to be finalised in the next 24 hours. And it has been reported that the fee will be £4 million for the midfielder.

Rogic has been an outstanding player for Celtic. So it is no surprise to see the reports prompt a lot of debate on social media amongst the Bhoys fans.

Some believe that now is the right time to let Rogic go. He has not been needed so far this season, and he has struggled with injury in recent years. He has not played 90 minutes in a domestic game since last October.

However, the news has not been well-received by all. Some believe that Rogic is a player worth keeping given the magic that he can produce.

And plenty seem baffled by the decision to let him go for just £4 million. At his peak, he was surely worth significantly more.
