A number of Celtic fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports from the Daily Record claiming that Patryk Klimala is close to securing a move away from the Hoops.
Klimala has endured a difficult time at Parkhead. He has only made 28 appearances for Celtic, scoring just three goals for the Hoops.
This season, he has not completed 90 minutes once in any competition. And it now appears that he is now on his way towards leaving the club.
The Daily Record reports that he is on the verge of joining New York Red Bulls. In fact, it is claimed that Celtic may receive £3.5 million for the Polish youngster.
Admittedly, there are some Bhoys fans who seem very happy about the report. Based on what he has shown for Celtic, it does appear that they have done incredibly well to potentially recoup what they paid for him.
However, many are not happy at all. Some are adamant that he has not had anywhere near enough of a chance to show what he can do.
It should also not be forgotten that he is only 22 years of age. And with Celtic set to appoint a new boss, it appears that some hoped that he would get the opportunities he never really received under Neil Lennon.
‘We’ve let that boy down’
With that in mind, here is how some of the Celtic fans have reacted to the reports…
We’ve let that boy down. Effort levels that would shame most associated with this appalling season.

Back the laddie. Given no chance, would rather see others leave before him.
Everyone knows striker’s at club who’s times up, he shouldn’t be one of them 👍

Never got anywhere near enough game time for us. Great work ethic that a lot of other players should have had this season https://t.co/A1uadEVkZw

There’s a good player in there I’m telling you. Make it a loan and see how he progresses at least 💔 https://t.co/GqcY2JCVkc

annoyed at this! Out all of the strikers at the club he was the one who could have been worked on and with a good coach may have started to produce for us! https://t.co/DWQLBe4TdX
