Celtic fans react on Twitter to Olivier Ntcham performance in Dundee United win
Celtic recorded a narrow 1-0 victory over Dundee United on Saturday in the league – and some of the club’s supporters took to Twitter to praise Olivier Ntcham for his performance.
Neil Lennon’s side left it late to snatch three points in the Scottish Premiership fixture, as substitute Albian Ajeti fired in a close-range finish in the 83rd minute.
The Bhoys had struggled in the contest to convert their chances in the final third and were often denied by excellent performer Benjamin Siegrist in the Dundee United goal, but they eventually found a breakthrough.
Reigning champions Celtic have now picked up seven points from their opening three league fixtures and host Motherwell next Sunday at Parkhead.
Ntcham, 24, was recalled to the starting by Lennon at the weekend for his initial start of the season and was deployed in a more creative number 10 role.
The French midfielder showed some glimpses of quality in possession in trying to unlock the opposition’s defence and was substituted off in the 74th minute after a hard working display, but it was a tough evening for the majority of the Celtic players that couldn’t quite get find their usual spark.

#DUFCCEL poor display and questionable tactical changes. The Broony debate has to be had, sooner or later. An eminently forgettable match, but 3 points in the bag. Ntcham the best player on the field by a country mile. #HH #10iar pic.twitter.com/LSazL52NWT
