Celtic fans react on Twitter to Greg Taylor's display

A number of Celtic fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Greg Taylor’s display as the Hoops made it back to back league wins for the first time since December on Saturday.

Goals from Stephen Welsh and Odsonne Edouard either side of the break put Neil Lennon’s men 2-0 up against Motherwell. They were unable to keep a clean sheet, but they did see the game out.

It was another much more encouraging display from the Hoops. And perhaps it is fair to say that no player seems to winning more supporters around right now than Taylor.

The left-back has come in for a lot of criticism during his time at Parkhead. Some of it seemed to be harsh. But there is surely no question that the 23-year-old did struggle with the step up initially.

However, he is now silencing a lot of his critics. As shown by Whoscored, he made four key passes during the win. No player on either side was able to match that tally.

Meanwhile, he also made two tackles and two successful dribbles. And his display prompted some of the Celtic fans to suggest that they had seen his best performance for the club to date.

Several suggested that he is on another level to Diego Laxalt. And there is a certainly hope that his current run of form is a sign of what is to come from the youngster moving forward.
