Celtic fans react on Twitter to David Turnbull’s display

A number of Celtic fans have taken to Twitter to comment on David Turnbull’s display as the Hoops endured another frustrating result on Wednesday night.

Neil Lennon’s men are now four games without a win following their 2-2 draw with Livingston. They had come from 1-0 down to lead at half-time. However, they conceded after the break to ensure that the points were shared.

Once again, it was a night which saw a number of Celtic players come in for criticism. Few have managed to produce anything like their best form during this campaign.

One player who has done well however, is Turnbull. The midfielder seems to often be the member of the squad who proves to be a shining light for the struggling Hoops.

And he was impressive yet again against Livi. Remarkably, he contributed five key passes for the visitors, as shown by

No player ended up getting close to that tally. In fact, it was more than Livingston’s entire team managed between them.

And the decision to take him off ahead of the final minutes of the game saw Lennon come in for plenty of criticism.

Turnbull has been a revelation since arriving at Parkhead back in August. And it is not unreasonable to suggest that they would be considerably further adrift if it were not for the 21-year-old’s form since his move.
