Celtic fans react on Twitter as Arsenal reportedly eye Odsonne Edouard

A number of Celtic fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports from the Daily Mirror over the weekend suggesting that Arsenal are interested in Hoops striker Odsonne Edouard this summer.

Edouard has been outstanding for the Hoops again this season. The Frenchman has scored 28 goals in all competitions to help leave the Bhoys on the verge of another domestic Treble.

But perhaps they could prove to be the final trophies of Edouard’s Celtic career.

The Daily Mirror reports that Arsenal are interested in the 22-year-old. Meanwhile, Everton and Leicester City are reportedly interested in signing the forward.

The report noted that the Celtic star is rated at £30 million. But it appears that plenty of Hoops fans have little interest in seeing him leave for that sort of price.

Some have questioned why he would want to join Arsenal.

The Gunners are making progress under Mikel Arteta. But it does appear that they have plenty of work to do over the coming months.

And that has left some wondering why he would want to move to the Emirates. They are also hoping that Peter Lawwell demands a lot more before they sanction a sale.
