Youssouf Mulumbu has officially left Celtic just one year after signing.
The 32-year-old joined the club last summer from Kilmarnock, but Neil Lennon has confirmed the player’s exit.

He told the Mail on Sunday: “Mulumbu is a free. He is away, so there is no future for him here.”
The midfielder played just three games for the club after being brought in by Brendan Rodgers, and was loaned back to Kilmarnock in January with playing opportunities at Parkhead limited.
It was a very strange signing at the time from Celtic, and he likely won’t be missed by too many as he prepares to find a new club.

The former West Bromwich Albion star – who is currently on AFCON duty with DR Congo – was always unlikely to stay beyond the summer, especially with the club having now signed Luca Connell from Bolton Wanderers.
