Celtic fans remain undecided on Hearts striker Uche Ikpeazu despite his impressive performance against Rangers.
Ikpeazu started as the centre-forward for Hearts in the 1-1 draw with Rangers at Tynecastle. He put in a typically powerful and energetic shift, causing all sorts of problems for the Rangers defence.
Nikola Katic, in particular, struggled against Ikpeazu’s physicality. He offers a unique threat with his 6ft 3in frame and muscular build. While he is not a prolific goalscorer, he is able to get others into the game, as he did when his shot was saved and Hearts scored the rebound against Rangers.

Ikpeazu has recently been linked with a move to Celtic or the English Championship (West London Sport). Celtic fans had the perfect opportunity to scout the 24-year-old in action against bitter rivals Rangers.
His performance ensured that Celtic stayed at the top but the post-match reaction was mixed. Some Celtic fans do not think he is a good enough goalscorer to lead the line for the Bhoys. Others think that he has the ability to become a Parkhead cult hero.
Here are some tweets from Celtic fans discussing Ikpeazu’s display against Rangers.
