Celtic sensation Kyogo Furuhashi has emerged as a reported target for Premier League club Southampton – and Celtic fans have responded.
Kyogo, 26, has been on fire for Celtic since joining the club from Japanese side Vissel Kobe. In 11 outings for the Hoops, he has scored eight goals.
Although it has only been a matter of weeks since Kyogo swapped playing alongside Andres Iniesta for Callum McGregor, clubs are starting to notice.
Indeed, a report from CalcioMercato claims Southampton want to sign Kyogo from Celtic. Of course, the Saints have signed Celtic players before.
Virgil van Dijk, Stuart Armstrong, Victor Wanyama and Fraser Forster have all moved to Southampton from Celtic. Mo Elyounoussi went the other way.
There could be some weight behind Southampton looking at Kyogo, then. But if there is an interest, it will still be incredibly early.

Southampton eye Kyogo: What are Celtic fans saying?
Obviously, Celtic fans want Kyogo to stay. Given he has only just joined the club, Celtic can realistically hope to keep him for the foreseeable future.
But if he continues to score at the rate in which he is finding the back of the net – he will surpass 30 goals this season with some ease.
That might see suitors come in for him next summer. He is a good age, versatile, an international, quick and more than adept at a high press.
His work rate is unquestionable. While he has missed some glorious chances, especially against Leverkusen, Kyogo is clearly a top, top talent.
Celtic fans will know deep down – eventually, maybe before he is 30, Kyogo will go. But for now, Celtic fans have laughed off Southampton’s interest.
