Joe Ledley has finally found himself a new club after agreeing a move to join Kenny Miller at Australian A-League side Newcastle Jets – and Celtic fans have reacted to his Tweet, following the move.
Ledley, 33, had been without a club since leaving Charlton Athletic on a free transfer in the January window. The 77-time Wales international only joined the Addicks last summer after being released by Derby County – but managed just one appearance.
Now, Ledley has opted to try something different by leaving the United Kingdom, and indeed Europe. He joins a side that Kenny Miller has recently been appointed assistant manager, alongside another Welshman in manager Carl Robinson.
Ledley, who played for Celtic for four years between 2010 and 2014 and helped the Hoops win the first three of their eight consecutive Scottish Premiership titles, posted on Twitter after Newcastle Jets uploaded a picture of him in training.

Ledley clocked up a whopping 157 appearances in all competitions for Celtic during his four-year stay in Glasgow, before moving down south and contuining to have a very good career in England’s top flight – where he played 83 times.
Now, with his career entering the twilight stage, Ledley will be looking to impress in Australian football under the guidance of ex-Celtic and ex-Rangers striker Miller – as well as Robinson. Celtic fans reacted to his Tweet.
