James Forrest has taken one step closer to becoming a one-club man and seeing through his career at Celtic.
Celtic confirmed on Wednesday that Forrest has signed a new long-term contract at Parkhead. The midfielder puts pen to paper on a four-year extension lasting until summer 2023.
Forrest has risen through the ranks at Celtic and is now a key first-team player. For a while, it looked like he wouldn’t make the grade. But the Scotland international roared back with goals, assists and consistent performances.

Since making his debut, Forrest has played over 350 times for the Bhoys and will be targeting the 100-goal mark this season. His top form has continued into this season, offering goals and excitement from his wing.
Neil Lennon values Forrest highly and his success at Celtic Park cannot be underestimated. The 28-year-old has won eight league titles and nine cup trophies. He will be targeting more success in the next four years in Glasgow.
