Celtic star James Forrest is being linked with a move away from the club late in the summer transfer window. According to The Sun, Zenit St Petersburg are interested in signing Forrest for £12m.
The Russian Premier League champions have already added Malcom to their squad this summer. Zenit shelled £40m to land the Brazilian winger from Barcelona and want to partner him with Forrest now.
Zenit are ready to offer the Scotland international wages of £70k-per-week to convince him to make the Russian switch. And Celtic would receive £12m for the lively winger.

Forrest has only ever played for Celtic. He rose through the ranks and has never been out on loan, making over 350 appearances as a Celtic player. He has scored 75 goals for the Bhoys, including just under 50 goals in the Scottish Premiership.
Celtic will be eager to keep the 28-year-old, who recently admitted that he would love to sign a new deal (in an interview with The Daily Record). During that same interview, he hinted that he could become a one-club man.
Here are some tweets after he was linked with a move to Zenit.
