Celtic have reportedly tabled a £2.7million offer to sign Hajduk Split left-back David Colina this summer but may have to spend a considerable amount more to get their man – and Hoops fans have responded on Twitter.
Colina, 20, only joined Croatian side Hajduk Split from Monaco last summer but has already impressed, clocking up 23 appearances in all competitions on the left side of their defence. It has attracted interest from Celtic.
The Hoops could do with an addition on the left side of their defence. Since the departure of Kieran Tierney to Arsenal, they have failed to permanently fill the void left by the Bhoys academy product.

Boli Bolingoli was bought from Rapid Vienna but he has struggled. Greg Taylor has since become first choice and he sparkled on Sunday with two assists against Hamilton – but on the European stage, there are question marks.
Meanwhile, Colina could be brought in to solve that issue – though he has only played 23 times at senior club level and certainly lacks experience. Index claim Celtic have tabled a £2.7million offer, but told to double it by Hajduk.
Celtic supporters reacted to the reported news on Twitter after hearing that their club had been told to increase their initial Colina offer – and many have urged their club to do so. Others believe it is the ‘end of the road’ for Bolingoli.
