Celtic fans have taken to social media to react to reports that Anderlecht want to prise the club’s head of recruitment Lee Congerton away from Parkhead.
As reported by Sky Sports, the 45-year-old is a wanted man with two unnamed MLS clubs and Brendan Rodgers’ Leicester City also linked.

Congerton has been in the job at Celtic for two years after joining in March 2017, but could now be set to move on.
Anderlecht’s current director of football is Frank Arnesen, who was the man who appointed Congerton as Chelsea’s chief scout.
The pair also worked together at Hamburg, so Congerton knows him very well.
Congerton at Celtic
Congerton has not been a particularly popular figure at Parkhead during the Rodgers era.
He came under fire for facilitating a number of poor signings such as Marvin Compper and Charly Musonda.

That said, he did play a key role in the acquisitions of Filip Benkovic, Odsonne Edouard and Olivier Ntcham.
During his time at the club Celtic have won six trophies, but the club have struggled in Europe as a result of not having sufficient quality in the squad.
Fans react
Despite bringing in a few good players, Congerton’s contributions have not particularly impressed the Celtic faithful, and a number of them were open to seeing him leave his position to join Anderlecht:
