Celtic finished their European campaign with a 3-2 home victory over French side Lille – and some of the club’s fans on Twitter were celebrating the performance of Ismaila Soro.
The Bhoys knew before tonight that they would have no European football in the New Year after failing to qualify from the Europa League group stages, but they finished on a high with a victory at Parkhead.
Neil Lennon’s side were involved in a thriller that saw them lead 2-1 at half-time.
Christopher Jullien and Callum McGregor scored first-half goals for the Scottish champions either side of Nanitamo Ikone’s goal.
Former Celtic loanee Timothy Weah equalised again in the second-half for visitors Lille, before David Turnbull popped up in the 75th minute with a first-time finish to clinch the win.

Celtic will hope they can take some momentum now into their domestic games and it looks like the manager could have some tricky selection headaches just around the corner.
Soro, 22, was one of the players promoted into the starting XI for the Lille fixture and he made a huge impression on his first appearance for the club.
The defensive midfielder missed the second half of last season with a knee problem after joining in January and so far this campaign he’s been on the fringes, with Lennon restricting him to just four substitute appearances.
But he was superb in the centre of the park against Lille with his pass selection, physicality, work-rate and positioning.
A selection of Celtic supporters were amazed by the energy of the Ivory Coast star Soro, who looks like he could be a hidden gem with a big future ahead of him.
Here are some Celtic fans discussing Soro:
