Celtic fans praise Greg Taylor for performance in Hamilton win

Celtic recorded a 2-0 win at home to Hamilton on Wednesday night – and some of the club’s fans on Twitter picked out Greg Taylor as a real positive from the result.

Neil Lennon’s side earned three points in the Scottish Premiership courtesy of a routine victory at Parkhead.

Leigh Griffiths opened the scoring for the Bhoys in the 12th minute, before striker partner Odsonne Edouard added a second shortly after half-time.

The Scottish giants were guilty of being somewhat wasteful in the final third and missed a few more goalscoring opportunities, but the result ended the run of no wins in 2021.

Despite the victory, Celtic remain second in the league table 23 points behind leaders Rangers having played three games less.

A selection of Celtic supporters on social media were keen to give their defender Taylor special praise for his midweek display against Hamilton.

The 23-year-old left-back provided a decent attacking outlet for the hosts by spending most of the game in the opposition’s half and he’s now started back-to-back league games.

It looks like right now he’s in possession of the full-back spot ahead of on-loan AC Milan star Diego Laxalt and it’s an area of the pitch where there is decent competition.

Here are some Celtic fans discussing Taylor’s latest performance:
