Celtic fans not pleased with interest in Bournemouth striker Lys Mousse

Celtic are reportedly interested in Bournemouth centre-forward Lys Mousset – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter are not pleased with the speculation.

According to the Daily Mail, the Bhoys are exploring a potential move for the 23-year-old Frenchman to reinforce their attack.

It is understood that Bournemouth value the striker at around £10million and that he would be open to a move to Scotland.

The report details that Scottish champions Celtic would be prepared to offer a player plus cash deal for his signature, but Bournemouth target Kieran Tierney would not be sacrificed.

Mousset is a powerful attacker with good strength and pace, but hasn’t quite made a big impact during his time in English football.

He’s scored just two goals in 28 games across all competitions this season, with the likes of Callum Wilson and Joshua King keeping him out of the side on a regular basis.

Meanwhile, his overall Bournemouth record stretches to just five goals in 71 appearances for them.

A selection of Celtic fans are convinced that Mousset doesn’t have the potential to succeed with them and are put off by his valuation.

The Scottish champions are still yet to announce their full-time manager for next season, with Neil Lennon in temporary charge and preparing his side for the final league game of the season, before the Scottish Cup final with Hearts.

Here are some Celtic fans discussing target Mousset:
