Celtic are reportedly interest in forward Patryk Klimala – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter are not pleased by the speculation.

Klimala, 21, is a young striker that currently plays in the Polish top-tier for Jagiellonia.

The Daily Record has reported that Celtic have entered the race for the rising talent and could be keen on bringing him to Scotland.

It is understood that Italian side Genoa and a host of German teams are also eyeing him.

The report details there is a deal in his contract which means that Jagiellonia could lose him for just £3.5million.

Klimala has been a mainstay for his club team this campaign, scoring seven goals and supplying three assists in 18 matches across all competitions.

The striker is renowned for having a quick turn of pace and he could help provide competition for Odsonne Edouard if he ended up in Neil Lennon’s squad.

A selection of Celtic supporters on social media have responded to the Klimala rumour and have made it pretty clear that they would rather look elsewhere.

There would certainly be a considerable element of risk for a player that has never played outside of Poland in his club career before, but he’s still a young talent that is attracting interest and has represented his country at the Under-21 age level.
