Neil Lennon has replied to comments from Rangers boss Steven Gerrard in his press conference on Friday – and many Celtic fans loved the response of their manager.
The dust is still settling after the Bhoys secured a 2-1 win over Rangers in the Old Firm derby last weekend.
James Forrest scored a late winner at Parkhead to secure three points in the league and battled past a spirited opponent that were reduced to 10 men following Alfredo Morelos’ red card in the first-half.
Gers manager Gerrard has since come out to aim his frustration at Celtic captain Scott Brown for provoking players and also claimed they were “playing the victim card”.

Lennon did not miss out on the opportunity to reply and gave his response:
“The only rational thing Steven Gerrard has said this week is that they played the best team in the country on Sunday,” he said, as quoted by the club’s official Twitter.
The fallout from the Old Firm derby continues, as the Scottish Football Association charged both Scottish clubs for failing to control their players and Gerrard given a (Sky Sports).
Lennon currently has the Celtic job on an interim basis following the mid-season departure of Brendan Rodgers to Leicester City and he’s certainly got himself on side with supporters following his comeback to Gerrard.
