The French midfielder has agreed fresh terms with the Scottish giants and will now remain at the club until 2022.
Ntcham has been at the club since last summer following a £4.5 million move from Manchester City.
He impressed in 2017/18 and featured 47 times across all competitions, scoring seven goals.
This term, Ntcham has already made 19 appearances and has struck four times.
He has endeared himself to the Hoops faithful thanks to his technical class in the middle of the park.
It’s great news for Celtic fans, and Ntcham follows Tom Rogic and James Forrest in signing an extension this year.
And many are all now thinking the same thing.
Next up, Ryan Christie?
A number of Celtic fans were quick to state that they would now like to see Ryan Christie signed up on a fresh contract.
Christie, a 2015 signing from Inverness Caledonian Thistle, is out of contract next summer.
Before shining this term for the Bhoys, Christie spent a year and a half on loan at Aberdeen where he made 58 appearances for the club.
So far in 2018/19, Christie has made 13 appearances for Celtic and has really caught the eye.
Against RB Leipzig in the Europa League on Thursday he was exceptional, laying on an assist for Odsonne Edouard’s winner.
Before that game, he sparkled in the League Cup semi-final against Hearts.
Celtic fans react
As far as a lot of Celtic fans are concerned, Ntcham’s new deal has to mean one for the ever-improving Christie:

Christie, Rogic and McGregor look to have given us a whole new dynamic look, Brown and Ntcham still to come back, yet folk are still talking a out John McGinn who’s running about the middle of the Championship bashing into folk like he’s done for years

Didn’t expect Olivier Ntcham to sign a new contract but I’ll not complain. Step forward Ryan Christie.
