Celtic are reportedly interested in Motherwell midfielder David Turnbull – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter are desperate for him to be signed.
According to the Daily Mail, the Bhoys are planning a move for the 19-year-old rising star and could face competition from Brighton.
The report details that the Scottish teenager is subject to a £1.2million bid from Celtic, but he is valued at around £3million.
It is understood that manager Neil Lennon wants to make the Motherwell ace one of his first signings this summer.
Turnbull has just enjoyed a brilliant breakout season at Motherwell, where he managed to become a first-team regular and impress in the top flight.
The central midfielder made 34 senior appearances across all competitions, scoring 16 goals and supplying seven assists in return.
He certainly looks an exciting talent that can make a huge difference in the final third and is a workhorse in the centre of the park too.

A selection of Celtic fans on social media feel he’s the perfect target for them this summer and that there is every chance he could be a future star.
