Celtic were beaten 3-1 at Parkhead on Thursday night by Italian side AC Milan – but some of the club’s supporters on Twitter did still find the performance of Tom Rogic as a positive.
The Bhoys have started the group stages of their Europa League campaign with defeat, as the current Serie A leaders picked up the three points.
Milan found themselves with a two-goal lead at half-time courtesy of goals from Rade Krunic and Brahim Diaz.
Mohamed Elyounossi set up a tense finish when he pulled one goal back for the hosts in the 76th minute with a header, but Milan snatched a late third in stoppage time through Jens Petter Hauge.
Neil Lennon’s side have now lost two games on the bounce following on from their league defeat to Rangers at the weekend and need to dust themselves down quickly ahead of their trip to Aberdeen on Sunday.

A selection of Celtic supporters on social media felt that Rogic deserved a special mention for his display after he came onto the pitch in the 64th minute to replace captain Scott Brown.
Attacking midfielder Rogic looked a threat when he was introduced by the Scottish champions, as he showed some neat touches of the ball and also had a shot deflected over the crossbar.
The 27-year-old left-footer is someone that’s had his problems with injury and it was just his third appearance of the season against Milan, but he appears to be working his way back to fitness with a few cameo roles off the bench and fans are desperate to see him back fully fit.
