Celtic fans impressed by latest performance from Ismaila Soro
Celtic recorded an impressive 3-0 victory away to Hamilton on Saturday afternoon – and some of the club’s fans on Twitter picked out their star Ismaila Soro for big praise for his individual performance.
Neil Lennon’s side put in an eye-catching display in the second-half to secure a much-needed three points in the league, as they begin to build a bit of momentum in the past month.
The Bhoys failed to break the deadlock in the first-half, but found a way through with goals from Odsonne Edouard, Leigh Griffiths and David Turnbull in the second period.
Edouard opened the scoring with a composed penalty, before Griffiths fired in a low left-footed finish from just inside the penalty box and Turnbull added a third with a close-range finish.
The Scottish champions are now 16 points behind Old Firm rivals Rangers in the league table, but do have three games in hand to try reduce that deficit and they also travel to Ibrox on 2 January in a crunch fixture.
A selection of Celtic supporters on social media believe that their midfielder Soro was once again a shining light for them in the centre of the park.
The 22-year-old defensive midfielder was on the fringes during the opening months of the season, but he’s now started to force his way into the XI and has started three consecutive league matches.
Here are some Bhoys fans praising his latest combative display:

How refreshing is soro in the team his mentality is to move the ball forward not this backwards or sideways passing 🍀
