Celtic produced a stunning display to beat in-form Motherwell 4-0 at Fir Park on Wednesday evening as they strengthened their lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership – but Celtic supporters were not impressed with Olivier Ntcham.
Odsonne Edouard took his tally to 25 goals for the season with a tidy finish for his first, and an excellent free-kick for his second. Leigh Griffiths also continued his excellent form after good work from the superb Callum McGregor.
The latter also got his name on the score sheet, making up for a poor first touch from a James Forrest pass by lashing a volley into the back of the net from around 20 yards out. Celtic remain seven points clear, despite Rangers’ late win over Hibernian.

Ntcham, 23, has now started 10 of Celtic’s last 11 Scottish Premiership encounters after a difficult spell following Neil Lennon’s arrival at the club for his second spell as manager. He has clocked up a whopping 119 outings since joining in July 2017.
His form since moving to Celtic for £4.5million from Manchester City attracted the attention of West Ham United in January, according to French outlet Foot Mercato. They claimed the Hammers were in advanced talks for the France Under-21 star.
Many Celtic fans reacted to his display against Motherwell and it is fair to say the majority were underwhelmed by the former Genoa loanee. One supporter even described his shooting as “abysmal”, despit Ntcham netting 21 times in his Celtic career.
