Odsonne Edouard was the hero for Celtic on Saturday in the Scottish Cup final success – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter raved about him for his performance.
The club-record £9million signing (Sky Sports) inspired the Bhoys to a 2-1 comeback win over Hearts to complete a domestic treble for the third consecutive season.
Neil Lennon’s team found themselves a goal behind when Ryan Edwards scored shortly after half-time, which left their treble hopes hanging by a threat.
But Edouard equalised from the penalty spot and then went on to score a winner late on with a lifted finish over the goalkeeper.

A selection of Celtic fans on social media were delighted with Edouard’s match-winning display in the cup final.
He showed once again that he can deliver in the big moments and he’s finished the campaign with 23 goals across all competitions in 52 matches.
He’s filled the role as the first-choice striker at Parkhead this campaign and justified his price tag by getting the Scottish giants over the line in the cup final.
All eyes will now turn to interim boss Lennon and whether or not he will get the managerial position on a permanent basis.
