Celtic fans excited by reported interest in striker Andraz Sporar

Celtic are reportedly interested in signing forward Andraz Sporar – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter are excited about the speculation.

The striker plays for Slovakian top-flight leaders Slovan Bratislava, who were involved in the Europa League group stages and failed to reach the knockout phase.

According to the Daily Mail, Celtic are eyeing a potential raid in the January window for the goal machine.

The report explains that Bhoys scouts have watched the 25-year-old in action on the European stage and he’s valued at £5million.

Sporar has shown in his clinical touch with 20 goals across all competitions so far this season at club level and he’s also a senior Slovenia international.

The striker has played 78 career games for current side Slovan Bratislava and scored an eye-catching 60 in return.
