Celtic started their push for title number 10 in succession with a comfortable 5-1 thrashing of Hamilton.

Odsonne Edouard kick-started his campaign with a devastating hat-trick, with Jeremie Frimpong and Patryk Klimala also notching.

It was the young Polish forward Klimala that caught the eye following his introduction from the bench.

The youngster signed for the Hoops in January for £3.5 million from Ekstraklasa outfit Jagiellonia Bialystok.

He didn’t feature much for the first-team last season but this time around things could be different.

He took his first goal for the club really well and on the whole, he looked lively despite playing for just four minutes.

Celtic boss Neil Lennon will want his side to score more goals this season and that doesn’t look like it will be a problem.

With Klimala backing up Edouard, the Hoops look extremely well-stocked when it comes to firepower in the final third.

At 21-years-old, it looks like Klimala might prove to be a steal at £3.5 million and he’s a player who will get the Celtic supporters excited.

Indeed, they were impressed with his brief cameo yesterday, with supporters taking to Twitter to express their delight.
