Joe Hart kept another clean sheet for Celtic on Tuesday afternoon, helping his side secure three crucial points – and fans have praised their goalkeeper.

The Hoops have suffered defeats to Bayer Leverkusen and Real Betis in their opening two matches – so it was must win against Ferencvaros.

They did just that against the Hungarian outfit at Paradise. It was Jota that proved the difference in the end, the Portuguese winger pulling the strings.

He got two assists, as Celtic cruised to a 2-0 win. They did have to wait for the breakthrough, eventually scoring through hero Kyogo Furuhashi.

A gorgeous ball from Jota split the defence, with the winger getting the four iron out of his bag to supply Kyogo. A gorgeous first touch, superb finish.

Callum McGregor missed a penalty, but Jota was on hand to create another glorious chance. McGregor won the ball back, and fed the winger.

What are Celtic fans saying about Hart, after win over Ferencvaros?

His square eventually went in off David Turnbull. A good win, but they did have to rely on £15,000-a-week (Romano) Hart on a couple of occasions.

A foul, conceded by Adam Montgomery from the angle, was fired in at the near post by Eldar Civic – but Hart was alert, getting across his goal quickly.

A superb display all round, including Hart. The 34-year-old has now kept eight clean sheets in 17 games, conceding just 18 goals in that time.

Hart is enjoying life as a club’s first choice goalkeeper again. Celtic fans have responded on Twitter to his display, raving about Hart.
