Celtic fans discuss Declan Gallagher reports on Twitter

A number of Celtic fans have taken to Twitter to react to the Declan Gallagher reports from the Daily Record claiming that the Hoops are monitoring his situation.

Neil Lennon has a problem to address at the heart of his defence. As noted by the Record, Nir Bitton is now suspended. Meanwhile, Christopher Jullien is set to be sidelined for a significant period.

And it appears that Gallagher is now on their radar. The Daily Record reports that Celtic are one of the sides interested in the 29-year-old.

And it seems that they have a big advantage over any of their rivals for his signature. The Record claims that Gallagher wants to move to Parkhead.

It is noted that he is out of contract in the summer. And he is desperate to avoid featuring in the handful of games that would trigger a one-year extension to his terms because of the chance to return to Celtic.

Unsurprisingly, the Gallagher reports have attracted a mixed response on social media. It is clear that some are incredibly underwhelmed by the links.

Motherwell are struggling this season, and Gallagher turns 30 next month. So there are doubts over how long he would be able to contribute.
