Celtic are reportedly looking to extend Daniel Arzani’s loan move from Manchester City until the summer of 2021 after the Aussie ace suffered a long-term injury – and many Celtic fans believe it is a good move.
Arzani, 20, has endured somewhat of a nightmare at Celtic since joining the club on a two-year loan from Manchester City. He had previously starred for Australia at the World in Russia, convincing Man City to sign him from Melbourne City.
Brendan Rodgers made Arzani wait a considerable amount of time before handing the playmaker his debut, but just 23 minutes into his first senior appearance for Celtic, Arzani ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament.

He is yet to feature for Celtic’s first team since the injury, but it is clear that Neil Lennon is a fan with Australian outlet The World Game claiming the Hoops manager is looking to extend the deal. Indeed, he has been impressed by Arzani in training.
It is believed Celtic have made an approach to Man City to extend the loan deal by 12 months, which would see Arzani remain in Glasgow until the summer of 2021. Celtic believe they have a player on their hands, and want Arzani to prove that.
Celtic fans have reacted to the reported news on Twitter, and many believe that their club are making a good decision in looking to keep Arzani beyond the end of the 2019-20 campaign. However, some believe it is a poor move to keep him.
