Celtic looked set to falter in the Scottish Premiership chase as the closing stages of their match against Dundee yesterday.

A frustrating 0-0 stalemate was on the cards going into the international break, before Odsonne Edouard stepped up and sealed all three points for Neil Lennon’s side.

The departure of Brendan Rodgers has not derailed the title chase at Parkhead and the spirit and desire to seal yet another trophy is not dampened at all.

That was in full view as Celtic refused to give up until the last and sealed the win in dramatic circumstances to leave themselves ten points ahead of bitter rivals Rangers after 30 games.

And the fans absolutely loved it as the man who was relied upon to replace Moussa Dembele and take up the goalscoring burden left by Leigh Griffiths’ absence came through at a vital time to keep Celtic very much in the box seat for another title.
