Celtic took another step closer towards another Scottish Premiership title yesterday with a 4-1 win over Motherwell.
The Hoops were in control of the contest from the off and ensured that the lead at the top of league stayed at eight points.
Goals from Scott Sinclair, a brace from Odsonne Edouard and Oliver Burke handed Celtic the victory.
Brendan Rodgers’ side have looked in good nick of late.
The ex-Liverpool boss was forced into a change with Scott Brown serving a one-match ban following his dismissal last week.
Ewan Henderson got the nod to make his first start for the club.
The 18-year-old capped a stunning performance by claiming the Man of the Match award.
Academy graduate Henderson made his debut towards the back end of last season, coming off the bench against Kilmarnock.
Henderson didn’t look at all phased by the occasion and showed maturity way beyond his tender years.
His debut went swimmingly and he even claimed an assist for Edouard’s first goal.
His performance had Celtic supporters gushing with pride following the contest.
We rounded up the best from the world of Twitter on a stunning afternoon for the Celtic youngster…
